Tyrenology was born out of Wheel & Tyre Retreaders a family owned business that was established in 1981 and grew to the largest Bandag remould factory on the East Rand.
In 2008 we felt a need to adapt to the rapidly changing economic climate and find a way to meet our clients ever changing needs. This lead us to our business venture with Kgona o Tsoge our new B-BBEE devision, working together to improve this great nation of ours.
We amulgamated our factory in 2008 with ATT – Leader Tread which is now the largest retreading facility by volume in the world processing 850-900 tyres per day.
Tyrenology is proud to be an independent company that is able to offer its clients a wide variety of products to suite their individual needs. We felt it important to branch out and come up with a combination of products and services that would help combat the ever increasing prices and decreased budgets.
